Traveler, adventurer, documentary maker and storyteller
Although born and raised in Iran, I am now a Dutch citizen. My Iranian roots have made me who I am today but I have learned to be at ease everywhere; when I was 23 years old, I fled my country and I made my way to Europe on foot. In a way I never stopped traveling since.
I have visited over 81 countries (and counting!) and have traveled in almost every possible way. The most memorable journeys include cycling to C. Asia, Israel, and Palestine; riding a motorcycle in East Africa and visiting the African tribes in Tanzania; traveling by horse and local transport to see the Tsaatan tribe in northern Mongolia and the eagle hunters in western Mongolia; and now riding my motorcycle from Patagonia to Alaska.
In addition to exploring the world I am now organizing tours to share my experiences.
