Eclectic Electronic Music.
Starting out in the '90s after discovering MODs on local BBSes, Raccoon Fink started composing for the demoscene, as Ranger Rick. He released a large number of tracks into the aughts, self-releasing either through the 'scene or independently through his own web site, eventually under the name "Raccoon Fink."
After a time of inactivity, he started making music again during the pandemic. During that time he found out that one of his old songs was stolen, alongside a number of other demosceners, by someone going by Lord Caduceus. What was at the time an independent scene of folks making homemade music & trading tapes is now known as "Dungeon Synth," this release was considered one of the seminal releases in the founding of the genre. Dungeon's Deep produced a reissue, including limited-edition cassettes, with the original artists properly credited.
Raccoon Fink has since jumped into the genre with both feet, & released a number of Dungeon Synth studio albums.
