There’s an alchemy that happens inside a good song. A tootsie roll can take you back to your elementary school playground; a list of baby names becomes a prayer; the absurdity of a toothless refrigerator technician reminds you to say “I love you.”
Jenner Fox is a Bellingham, WA based internationally touring songwriter who has built his reputation on poignant and humorous storytelling with a voice that carries equal measures of vulnerability and conviction. Grammy-nominated producer Cookie Marenco praised his debut album, writing: “Jenner combines the lyricism of Joni Mitchell and the commentary of Neil Young to represent the next generation of singer-songwriters.”
Fox’s most recent LP, Anything, showcases the rare chemistry of his band. Atwood Magazine described the record as: “A soul-stirring, spirit-settling album worth savoring from start to finish… there’s a quiet magic in the way the band plays together — in how each instrument listens, breathes, and responds.”
