Johann Sebastian is a versatile producer, musician, and audio engineer based in Philadelphia who has honed his craft performing, producing, and recording music in a variety of genres, including Hip Hop, Electronic and Dance music. He is a two-time winner of the Behind the Breaks competition, known for his ability to seamlessly blend jazzy samples with electro-synth vibes, creating a unique and captivating sound that connects the people and natural world around him to the stars above. Johann released his first solo project, Circles, in 2018 and a full length collaborative beat tape with fellow Philadelphian DCee Musik, 2020’s Jazzy Grits. In 2022 he released, Primary Perception, an ambient synth meditation. As a producer and engineer he’s worked with an ever growing circle of artists including Truck North, MH the Verb, Upholstery, Aime, Kuf Knotz and Christine Elise, Thee!General, D Prime 215, Eric Boss, Martronimous, Cvgebird, Jason Ager, Reggie Parker, Shane Great and more.
