Fly in Formation is a high energy band, blending triumphant rock and metal music with the uplifting and euphoric sounds of dance music. Founded by guitarist and composer Dante Frisiello (Steve Vai Band) in 2021, FIF has evolved into the collective creative vision of its four virtuosic members: Brendan Hasson (keyboards, sound design), Reese Ortenberg (bass, guitars), and Nathan Sletner (drums). FIF debuted their first EP “PHYSICAL ARCHITECTURE” in 2021 to high praise from progressive metal fans for its digestible, epic, and melodic focused rock compositions. In 2024, Fly in Formation returned with their sophomore release, “ONE WITHIN,” featuring a dramatic new genre blending sound, combining powerful and aggressive rock music with the jubilant and rhythmic sounds of trance and dubstep. While still remaining instrumental, ONE WITHIN features catchy melodies, mind-bending shred solos, head-banging riffs, and lots of fist-pumping dance moments.
