University of the Arts Sharjah (UAS) was established by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as a leading creative institution dedicated to excellence in the Performing and Visual Arts. Home to the Performing Arts Academy and the Visual Arts Academy, the University spans two purpose-built campuses and includes five colleges, Theatre, Music, Film, Design, and Fine Arts, bringing together artistic practice and creative innovation within a vibrant academic environment. UAS offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, serving a diverse and growing community of 600+ students supported by 100 faculty members. Through rigorous academic programmes, hands-on training, and interdisciplinary collaboration, UAS prepares the next generation of artists, performers, designers, and creative leaders.
