I was born in the steel town of Wollongong, 80 kilometres south of Sydney, Australia, in the late 1950s. From an early age, I cultivated a deep passion for music, filmmaking, and design—alongside a drive to challenge the comfortable traditions of Western thought. I am a writer, a film maker, a composer, a photographer, and world traveller. I have chronicled my adventures in cities such as London, Amsterdam, Morocco, Moscow, Mount Desert Island, New Orleans, and Vienna.
