Showcasing the performances of the SDSU MFA Musical Theatre Program is this channel's function. The program is a two-year intensive curriculum where productions are selected specifically for the enrolled graduates. Candidates perform, direct, choreograph, compose, write and critique productions. Students enroll in courses in Musical Theatre History, Stage Direction, Script and Score Analysis, and the keystone course; Musical Theatre Studio. Studio is a performance class that synthesizes singing, acting and movement. Applications for the class of 2018 will start in the Fall of 2015.
