Garlo's Pies is a Meat Pie company founded in 2001 with the opening of their first retail pie shop at Maroubra in Sydney Australia. It was created by brothers Sean and Nathan, and father Terry Garlick. The name "Garlo" is derived from the nickname of their surname Garlick. Throughout the formative years, Garlo's Pies concentrated on opening retail pie shops around Sydney reaching 13 stores by 2007. Garlo's Pies can now be found in pubs, clubs, schools, sports grounds, cafes, convenience stores, service stations and supermarkets. In 2010 Garlo's Pies became available in all Coles supermarkets in New South Wales. In 2012 the pies also became available in selected IGA supermarkets. Garlo's Pies supermarket presence has continued to grow since 2012 and now find themselves in all Coles supermarkets in NSW and QLD, and all Woolworths supermarkets in NSW.
