Yes Rave is an independent record label, a loose artistic collective and an events/promotion company based in Melbourne, Australia that places emphasis on ideals and drive rather than genre or aesthetics. Combining the DIY punk ideals of Dischord, K Records and Alternative Tentacles with the modern digital hustle of hip hop and dance labels like Fade To Mind, 300 Entertainment & Awful Records, this is a label taking the building blocks of the past into the present and the future. Forming in 2016, with the release of b00bjob’s cult underground single ‘Brown Shane Warne’ and the ‘Yes Rave/Yes Sydney’ compilation (featuring Scabz, Brendan Maclean, Le Pie, Moonsign & more), the label went on to achieve nationwide critical success with huge full length releases by Bilby and Simo Soo.
