This channel explores the human dimension of problem solving. We examine how Enneagram dynamics emerge during problem solving and how each Enneagram type contributes, and sometimes detracts, from collective solutions. We use humanities big challenge of global warming and climate collapse as examples of big problems that we must collectively address. Because climate change provokes so many different emotional responses, it provides a laboratory for understanding human dynamics in the face of a big challenge. Matt Schlegel is the principal at Schlegel Consulting. A systems thinker, Matt has always been fascinated by team dynamics and what makes some teams successful while others fail. His studies in engineering provided formal training in problem solving. He developed the tools that Schlegel Consulting (www.evolutionaryteams.com) uses for team-based problem solving and transformative change.
