Sung-En Chi is an internationally acclaimed Marimba Artist known for his profound emotional depth and distinctively captivating style, actively redefining the marimba as a solo narrative voice. His artistry has received the highest international validation: In 2023, Sung-En won the Absolute First Prize in the Marimba Solo Category B at the 20th International Percussion Competition Italy (PAS) with an exceptional score of 98 points. Japanese marimbist Junko Segawa lauded his work for its "strong and unique personal style" and "incredibly captivating musical ideas." Following his graduation from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2025, he was admitted to the Master’s program at the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA).
