Yvette Cornelia Holzwarth is a California violinist, vocalist, songwriter, and composer. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and now based in Los Angeles, Yvette began classical violin studies at the age of three. She has since broadened her musical interests to include many diverse styles, including Eastern European folk, Arabic, Americana, experimental contemporary, jazz, improvised music, and pop. As a studio and touring musician, she has shared the stage with numerous artists. One of her favorite projects is her Eastern European-inspired violin and guitar duo with Miroslav Tadić. Their recent album "Luka" was released on Croatia Records.
Yvette also combines her love for poetry and music in original work. In 2013, she lived in a one-room wood cabin in rural West Sonoma County and delved further into songwriting. Her debut EP Open It Up was followed up the album "What Lies Ahead," which was performed by a unique chamber folk ensemble.
