JAYLIEN is a multi-talented producer, songwriter, singer, rapper from St. Louis, Mo. Jaylien first gained prominence as a producer/songwriter for Akon; he achieved recognition for his work on Akon's album 'Freedom', producing & writing the single "Beautiful". In 2013 he co-wrote "Scream & Shout" for Will.i.am & Britney Spears. "Shout" went on to sell over 4 million singles in the US alone. Since then he's worked with the likes of Ty Dolla Sign, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Keyshia Cole, etc. After producing/writing for a string of stars, in 2015 he decided to focus on his own music releasing his debut on July 15, 2016...‘Summer's Over’ EP. The follow up project, titled “Summer’s Over 2”, was released on November 30th 2018. In 2022 he reconnected with Kanye & the YZY camp working on Donda 2. Following a major romantic break up , JAYLIEN'S 3rd project "The Blue Project" was released in September 9th, 2022. After a lengthy break, Jaylien expects to release new solo music all of 2024.
