What is a Bully? Stereotypically we understand workplace bullying to be - the new guy at the shop getting pushed around by the established Alpha Dog. One scenario plays out this way The new guy finally has enough one day and lets go with both barrels on the alpha dog. The result, the two become friends and the new guy is accepted into the pack or the two just stay the heck away from each other. Lines are drawn and rarely crossed. Everyone lives happily ever after. Well, not in every case, not in most cases. Truthfully it rarely happens that way at all. More likely the alpha dog goes covert and works his tail off to drive the new guy out. There are any number of situations and scenarios unfolding everyday across the country. But they have one simple, main theme. Someone is getting done dirty behind their back by a little coward and if that someone does not get up to speed fast, he'll be out of a job or may just as well be.
