Drew Hoschar is a drummer and composer hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, currently residing in New York City.
While growing up in Cleveland, Drew was a member of the Tri-C JazzFest Academy, where he learned to explore and develop his skills as a musician. He was mentored by musicians such as Mark Gonder, Dominick Farinacci, Theron Brown, Aidan Plank.
After moving to Manhattan for college in 2022, Drew quickly immersed himself in the scene of NYC. He has been mentored by artists such as John Riley, Ari Hoenig, Buster Williams, and Nicole Glover.
In October of 2025, Drew released his debut recording "Adhoc", featuring all original songs. The band is made up of artists that he met while attending MSM. They have performed twice at the Tri-C JazzFest in Cleveland, OH, and have performed at venues in New York such as Nublu.
Currently, Drew is finishing his bachelor's degree at the Manhattan School of Music, where he is studying privately with Kendrick Scott.
