Waiting 4 April is an American rock band based in Dallas, Texas. Blending early 2000s emo influences with a modern edge, the band delivers emotionally charged, genre bending music that resonates with a wide audience. Their debut full length album, “A Word For Dissonance”, was released in June 2025, marking a significant step forward in their creative evolution. Originally from San Luis Obispo, California, Colton Ray relocated to Dallas in 2023 to pursue music full time. There, he met bassist Tyler Whiteley, and together they began building the lineup that would become Waiting 4 April.
