The Ypsilanti Community Choir is directed by Ariel Toews-Ricotta and accompanied by Maria Cimarelli. The group was founded in 1983 by Denise Rae Zellner, who saw the need for a for a community-based choral group in Ypsilanti, MI. Anyone with an interest in music continues to be encouraged to join without audition. The group is open to all adult singers, regardless of musical training, and without audition.
