You Know "That Guy" is just a normal person just like everyone else trying to bring the love and power of music to everyone. Going back to my teen years I watched my older cousin Dj to New York style freestyle music with his best friend at the time, and I fell in love with it. So, trying to copycat them with my Sharp Rp Linear tracking turntable, Gemini XL -100belt drive with Realistic stereo mixing console from Radio Shack I started my journey. little to my surprise my first Record purchase was not a freestyle record at the record store. I was captivated by a sound unfamiliar to me, so I asked the sales person what is this beat, he simply said welcome to house. OMG, a new bond was made in my soul. I didn't dj for to much time after that, but the vibe was in me forever, years passed by and I got older and turntables and equipment became digital, curiosity kicked in and I questioned my urge ...Can I do that ? I was instantly reunited with a passion that never left !
