PRAS is a volunteer-based, non-profit society serving the districts of Tofino and Ucluelet, and First Nations communities along the Central West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Our goal is to contribute meaningfully to happy, healthy west coast communities by bringing people together through arts and culture. The Pacific Rim Arts Society incorporated in 1970 with a strong base of members and volunteers. PRAS has since introduced hundreds of community members and thousands of visitors to the work of local and visiting artists, including visual artists, carvers and sculptors, actors, writers and poets, film makers, dancers, and musicians.
