Beth Fitchet Wood is a singer, guitarist, composer and producer. Her main influences are in the folk, pop, musical theater, jazz and rock 'n roll genres. She was in the Southern California band "Honk" in the early seventies, who released three albums and toured nationally with Loggins and Messina, Chicago and the Beach Boys. From 2005 through 2013, every Tuesday Night, at the Marine Room, 214 Ocean Ave. Laguna Beach, Beth F. Wood put on a Songwriter's Showcase from 8 to 11, with many different musical talents. Some have a great deal of professional experience and some are working up to that. Beth played a 45 minute set first, and then 3 other acts performed short sets. It was a very intimate setting, and all experimented with their new stuff. The audience was of the highest quality and the performers loved playing for them...
