SAM I AM is a multidisciplinary artist and DJ from Toronto, Canada. A lifelong fan of extreme metal, Sam came to appreciate electronic music through her love of black metal and its atmospheric use of electronic elements taken from the dark ambient and dungeon synth genres. Though this interest naturally bled into a strong affinity for punishing, sensory-heavy genres such as techno, her deep love for house music and adjacent genres blends with her unorthodox past to result in truly unique sets dripping with colour from all corners of the music she loves.
