Musicians Workshop was founded by the Striffolino family in 1978 and has earned a reputation as a "leader" among music retailers in New Jersey.
With both holding B.A. degress in music education, Joe and Valerie Striffolino pride themseleves in a music instruction program second to none.
The staff of Musicians Workshop has included musicians from the Dave Mason Band to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Most recognized instructors have been jazz great Tal Farlow, rock icon Zakk Wylde, and bassist Dave La Rue.
Our instructors nominate their top performing students to form our "Rock Shop" bands. We take pride in showcasing this amazing group of young musicians and vocalists every year at venues like the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.
