These have included Wreckless Eric, Midge Ure, The Damned (in one of the band's own music videos), Tycho Brahe and Kev Carmody (by SBS in a TV doco). Obviously, I'd prefer the latter to the former.
In answer to the common criticism, why do you go to a concert and watch it from behind a screen, there is a simple answer, because I like it. Sure I miss some of the immediacy of the moment, but I also gain things that add to my enjoyment of the experience. There's the challenge and creativity involved in trying to catch that moment to the best of my ability and my limited resources. I know I'm never going to create professional quality footage but that's not the point. Above everything else it's to give me something to take away and relive in the years ahead.
