"Record New York" is a series of music films shot and recorded live and on-location around New York City and sometimes other places. The series is created and filmed by myself Stephan Knuesel. I am a Swiss/Vietnamese documentary filmmaker, based in New York since 1999. I made the Swiss / Japanese documentary "Negative: Nothing" (negativenothing.com/en). I also directed, shot and edited music videos and live sessions among others as director for the music show "Newtown Sessions" (distributed by VICE/NOISEY).
