Busk in London was launched in 2015 by the Mayor of London to make busking bigger, better and easier in the capital. We want London to be the world’s most busker friendly city by encouraging public and private landowners to open up spaces where street performance can take place and at the same time raising the profile of street performance. To celebrate busking we run the Busk in London Festival in the summer, where we invite the world's most talented and respected street performers to entertain audiences. We also encourage everyone to give busking a go, joined by cities around the world, on International Busking Day.
