Founded and lead by singer, songwriter and guitarist Andrew Beg, Havens is a Toronto indie/alternative band that fuses dreamy textures with rock and roll energy. Inspired largely by the great alt rock of the '80s-'00s with a nod to other genres, Havens draws on a rich tapestry of influences to develop their unique brand of alternative rock. Filled with memorable choruses, multi-dimensional guitars, and Beg's compelling baritone voice, their debut album Fairy Tales released in March 2024 to positive reviews. "Easy, warm and at times anthemic, Fairy Tales is an incredibly impressive offering", said Australia's Happy Mag. "Beg shines as a songwriter ... [and] has a knack for writing soaring chorus hooks, oozing familiarity and earnestness."
