This is a channel primarily for synth music addicts, and analog gear lovers. This is where you'll find me, Joel Johnson/ Pulse Wave Prophet showcasing my music through videos. The sounds you'll hear are primarily inspired by early 80's new wave and punk mixed with 90's trance and acid music, but mostly modern dat retro synth, synthwave in style. My musical influences are a bit all over the place - the Boards of Canada, Danzig, Black Sabbath, the Cult, Daftpunk, Stevie Wonder, Andy Gibb, Kraftwerk, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Ludwig Von Beethoven. A bit eclectic, I know. Why am I here you might ask? Well, In an earlier life I'd been a techno/trance/acid music musician, a couple of albums were supposed to happen but didn't, even Astralwerks had a rep call me off and on for 4-5 months. So, now, I just use this platform and a few others to provide music and sometimes what I feel are interesting videos to go with it. Hopefully you'll either like the videos or the music or both.
