Ichikawa-based artist, industrial designer, and sound/music producer. I run LightReft.jp, a Japanese brand that creates boutique electronic instruments. MONOLIT, our first instrument, is a versatile MIDI computer used by around a thousand musicians worldwide. It marked the start of Light Reft’s hardware line and our approach to compact, performance-oriented instruments. Following MONOLIT, we released CONCRETE, our stereo analog filter and multi-engine drive processor. Together, they form the beginning of an ongoing line of distinctive instruments for electronic musicians, live performers, and sound explorers. Most of my time is dedicated to LightReft, where I explore the intersection of design, technology, and music. Over the past 10 years, I have created music and art for Netflix, HBO, Adidas, Coca-Cola, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Mercedes-Benz, Black Corporation, Nana the Shrimp, Love, Death & Robots, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more.
