With the BLAUES RAUSCHEN festival, open systems e.V. aims to further strengthen the local cultural scene in the long term. It is intended to help artists network and further expand existing collaborations. The individual events of the festival take place at various locations in the Ruhr region. In this way, open systems e.V. is sending out an important signal for the ongoing desire for a supra-regional cultural policy. Open systems e.V. has set itself the goal of promoting contemporary music and art. This is achieved in particular through the organization and implementation of festivals, concert series and symposia. The events are intended to stimulate cross-city cooperation between the various scenes not only in the Ruhr region, but also on an international level.
