DoubleTake was founded as an all-gender a cappella group at the College of William and Mary in 1993. The group’s style has evolved throughout its history, and its repertoire is now filled with a variety of the members’ favorite music, mostly including modern pop. “DT,” as the group is lovingly shortened to, performs several major concerts on campus every year and visits groups from other colleges on a Fall Tour. For decades, the group has strived to achieve a balance of musical prowess and friendship. The two come together with the favorite term of its members, “DT Love,” which expresses both the appreciation they have for each other, and for the wonderful a cappella community the campus fosters.
