Growing up in New England, Souleye was captivated by hip-hop, taping episodes of Yo! MTV Raps and writing rhymes by his teens. His debut album Soul Sessions launched a prolific career spanning nearly a dozen albums, including 2021’s hunting teardrops and 2019’s Soul School. His next album, Disguised As Tomorrow, is on the horizon.
