AGADEZ is an Italian singer-songwriter and composer. She studies the Feminine Divine, archaeo-mythology, and shamanism. Taking a name that evokes Tuareg Symbolism, Agadez is Giada Colagrande, film director, actress and video artist. Continuing to merge spiritual research and art, Giada now weaves another thread in her work, which has seen collaborations with Marina Abramovic and Franco Battiato. As AGADEZ, she begins a solo musical journey that’s rooted in World music, but transcends musical genres by creating syncretic and evocative atmospheres.
