Raven Sassan started his professional work as a photographer in Iran at the age of 17.
He moved to Montreal in 1983, where he continued to work in the same field. In the following years, he expanded his work to include videography, editing, and technical direction in a variety of projects across North America.
His love of new advancements in audiovisual technology has made him one of the rare individuals capable of working with cutting-edge technology in video production, visual imagery, web design, graphic design, and editing.
Raven has also taken part in other artistic realms, including acting in several plays such as the role of "Kaveh the blacksmith" in Hezar Asb, “The Thousand-Horse” for the 1989 Montreal International Theatre Festival.
His creative mind does not stop there; he is one of the main forces behind the sketches in Hamrah.
An avid enthusiast of Iran's ancient history, he also writes articles that are posted on various websites concerning this field.
