My name is Tom. For 14 years I lived out of a backpack, drifting between countries, hostels, and whatever work I could find. I picked up a GoPro while working in the Australian mines and got hooked - soon this new hobby spiralled out of control. This channel follows the shift from a travelling misfit with years of nights in dodgy hostels, to a full-time family man and working stiff. I make videos about the places I’ve been, the work I’ve done, and the experiences that stuck with me - from rafting the Amazon, to crossing the South Island mountains, to getting up close with the industries and jobs many people don’t see.
