I respect real artists. I’ve been one a long time, and when AI arrived I was disheartened, not because it “steals the past,” but because it threatens the future: jobs, relevance, identity. So here’s my line: be transparent. If AI helps make a song, say it. But if a track moves you, why should the tools make it less real? What matters is how it made you feel, not how it was made. Some people can’t play instruments. Others just need a way to express what they carry. Intention separates slop from meaning. AI can make you lazy, or it can stretch you and sharpen your ideas. Icon Breakin’ Wreckords is about breaking the icons we hide behind, breaking our own records, sometimes even our own beliefs, growing, and the only way to get there is to continue to Rise when you’re broken and to be an annoying Broken record yourself Repeating the fundamentals until consistency becomes identity.
