The official YouTube handle of the Dept. of Architecture of the Aligarh Muslim University. The Dept. of Architecture is the youngest department of Zakir Hussain College of Engineering & Technology. It started in the year 1993-94 f and was established as a Department in 1998. The department offers a five year undergraduate programme as well as a two year graduate program in Architecture. The thrust areas of study are; Islamic Architecture, Energy Efficiency, Urban Design and Sustainable Architecture & Development. Students of the department find berths in higher educational institutes and various research programs across India, notable IIT's, SPA's, CEPT Ahmedabad, JMI New Delhi, etc., and in institutions of repute abroad, in countries like the UK, USA, Germany, South Korea, New Zealand, etc. The department is ranked at number 9 in the country by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF).
