Hugo and The Hive are a queer indie-folk/rock quartet emerging from Gympie, Queensland, known for their emotional songwriting, raw musicality and magnetic live performances. Formed in 2019 through their high school music program, the band quickly evolved from a creative experiment between friends into one of South-East Queensland’s most exciting young acts. Made up of Liz (bass), Louie (guitar/vocals), Korbin (guitar/saxophone) and Nat (drums), Hugo and The Hive create a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern, pairing infectious hooks with heartfelt storytelling and vibrant instrumentation.
