Fabrizio Vasquez is a composer-songwriter born in Arequipa-Peru in 1989. He started playing the guitar at age 12. He is studying in Berklee College of Music and is majoring in both Contemporary Writing and Songwriting. Fabrizio has participated in many important events such as “Berklee in The Round” and the “Contemporary Writing and Production Showcase”. His pieces "Para Volar" and "En Unos Años" have been selected consecutively for this important event in the Professional Writing Department. "Para Volar" has also been placed as finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition 2015 in the Latino Category. This recognition made the Songwriting Department award Vasquez with a partial scholarship. He is currently collaborating with Oscar Stagnaro and Michael Borgida in the realization of a video of "En Unos Años" salsa arrangement that is unifying for the first time Berklee and the Boston Conservatory.
