Baba Chaka are a five-piece alternative rock ensemble based in Victoria, BC. Formed in 2023, vocalist Ethan Echowood and guitarist Trevor McMorran met while attending the Victoria Conservatory of Music. Within a year Baba Chaka progressed from modest rooms to festival stages. Baba Chaka are indie through-and-through, self-recorded and produced by their newest member, bassist Ellis Frank. Rounding out the lineup are Eli Swift on lead guitar, and Max Sharrett on the kit.
