ATLERNATIVE INDIE FOLK // ATL Growing up surrounded by the open spaces of the Panhandle, Ben found his rhythm as a drummer, contributing to various bands and local projects. During a pivotal chapter in his musical journey, he embarked on a short stint in the indie music scene of Portland. Ben connected with musicians and honed his craft in a town known for its creativity. However, in a twist of fate, the call of the Panhandle proved irresistible, so he journeyed back home. This experience infused his music with a range of influences, creating a mix of indie sensibilities with the gritty texture of the Panhandle that defines his sound today. When the pandemic disrupted typical daily life, Ben seized the opportunity to explore his own songwriting. Inspired by the sounds of Ben Howard, the atmospheric beauty of Bon Iver, and the emotion of the late Jason Molina, Ben began crafting his own heartfelt compositions.
