Islamic Hymns is a new music genre. In this collection titled "Celebration of Life" these Islamic worship and devotional songs are for the first time written and arranged in the Western classical scale with vocals in the choral arrangement much like church choirs. The lyrics are in English, adapted from a verse in the Quran, Prophet Muhammad's favorite prayer, and from famous Muslim poets such as Rumi and Rabia al Basri. It is the first collection of religious works that is American and Muslim. *Traditionally Islamic religious songs are in Eastern and Middle Eastern languages with musical styles heavily influenced by Eastern scales.
