The high-performance experimental eVTOL platform engineered for iterative validation of flight dynamics, power systems, and control architecture. Developed as a modular, do-it-yourself test bed, the quadcopters facilitate rapid prototyping and real-time performance analysis of quadcopter subsystems in a controlled, low-altitude environment. The vehicle employs a quadrotor configuration with four high-efficiency brushless DC motors (BLDC's), each driven by independent electronic speed controllers (ESCs), mounted to a precision-bent aluminum tubular frame. At the heart of the control architecture is a flight controller, augmented with a custom PID control loop for real-time motor actuation. Communication is handled through a standard 6-channel transmitter/receiver system, enabling manual input during tuning phases.
