Hello 👋🏻, we're Emily & Roberto, we are building a complete off-grid homestead from scratch on 5 acres of abandoned land in rural Italy.
With minimal construction experience & endless determination, we're transforming this overgrown terrain into a self-sufficient paradise. Join our journey as we attempt major builds, install systems that take us completely off the grid and restore centuries-old stone ruins, all while learning as we go! Using permaculture techniques, we will soon be growing our own food, being (mostly) self-sufficient and developing our skills, which we document in weekly episodes.
