Originally formed in 1987 In Northern England,Momento Mori were very active participants in the U.K Goth Scene of the late 80’s and early 90’s.
While heavily gothic influenced in both style and sound they never resorted to cliche.
The band toured extensively in the U.K and Europe, winning fans over with their live shows and rocky energetic sound. Influences too many to list but drawn from highly original bands from the 80`s era such as The Chameleons, Killing Joke etc Strong melodies, and memorable guitar lines being key.
This year marks the bands 30th anniversary with gigs being requested across the country and beyond with a new line-up and a promising future ahead for a veteran band going where eagles dare and further.
