Gary is a Song Writer not a flash player. Just another Sad Canadian story. Martyrs of Melody produced 5 full Length Albums from 1997 to 2006 RECORDED LIVE OF THE FLOOR TO AMPEX MM1200 16 TRACK. GARY INFLUENCED BY JAMES LAST and the Trumpet. One of Canada's poorest bands of all times, no drug related problems. Just factory workers. The Band was financed by the electronic work Gary did for 40 years Martyrs where essentially G. Mundel Guitars, Bass and Vocals and Drummer extraordinaire D. Laurin. By 1999 2 of the 4 members had passed away, from car accidents, Reggie Bernst (Guitar) Allen Affeld (Bass) where killed by a repeat drunk driver returning from a show, Dan and Gary kept creating. Dan to retire in 2003 do to shattered bone fragments in both wrists from 30 years of heavy drumming. Dan Laurin was 1 of the best.
