Women & e-Commerce Forum (WE) is currently one of the biggest and most successful organizations in Bangladesh for women e-Commerce entrepreneurs who are working with local products. Using social media as a tool for knowledge dissemination WE is connected to women entrepreneurs all over Bangladesh. WE Facebook group currently has more than a 1.2million members. Women entrepreneurs are regularly writing about their products. These include local foods (i.e. sweets, vegetables, dairy, fruits) handmade goods, textiles, etc. Thanks to this unique approach, WE currently have become the largest and most successful online platform for selling local products as well as helping local women entrepreneurs.
