To The Local was founded by Abi Whistance in June 2019, and continues to outgrow the small podcast series it was initially intended to be. The company now interviews bands and musicians via podcast or through video interviews conducted at live music events, as well as curating content pushing the best music on offer up North. Abi Whistance has collaborated with and interviewed a range of up and coming musicians from all genres, including the likes of Feeder, The Twang, Pulled Apart By Horses and HMLTD.
