I bought my first Volkswagen, a 1973 Beetle, when I was 14 years old. Almost 30 years later, it’s still in my garage. Here you’ll find the projects, road trips, and adventures that come with owning classic Volkswagens. We rescue old VWs, restore them, put thousands of miles on them, camp in them, and share the people and places that make the Volkswagen community so special. Current projects include BrewDub, my ‘73 Beetle, Alfonso, our rescued 1971 Westfalia that has traveled more than 8,200 miles across the country, and a 1961 SO-23 Subhatch Westfalia that’s slowly coming back to life. Along the way you’ll find restoration videos, maintenance, road trips, National Parks, VW shows, product reviews, camping, and the VW Garage Talk Podcast.
