In 2013 Wednesbury Museum and Art Gallery exhibited three works by American video artist Bill Viola: Surrender, Four Hands and Katherine's Rooms. This was part of the national Artists Rooms programme co-ordinated by The Tate Gallery and The National Gallery of Scotland. Alongside the exhibition community and education groups from across Sandwell came to see the work and then worked with artists to make their own video work in response.
